And for goodness sakes let me custom map per game!Įdit: to be clear, I'm not trying to defend nintendo and how they routinely seem to make utter baffling decisions as much as point out that you are getting a big bunch of games of which many are much harder to come buy and cost more than they ever did to buy irl, and they do run fine. Every game I've tried so far has ran absolutely fine though. They do need to fix the broken shit though as far as online playability and wacky rendering where its happening.
Buying a single PS5 game doesn't feel like a good value lmao.
Value in gaming has changed tremendously ever since GamePass really. Is it a great value? eh, no, but for ~4 bucks a month to access all these games I don't think its 'one of the worst deals in gaming' either, but thats just imo of course.

This is totally frustrating, for sure.Ĭertainly aint a price for everyone, and it is pretty laughable when you consider xbl and ps+ both give you modern games with the service (and a much more full featured online suite too, but just like nso as soon as you stop subscribing you lose access to those too). Sure, doesn't really cost them shit because its rom files but they as a company still want to position their products how they are able. Yeah, it fucking sucks that prices go up for old things but there's clearly value in that market and nintendo is trying to position their older titles to fit that, which aint too surprising when you look at how they price any of their other more modern games. $50 for ~30 classic 64/genesis games isn't a terrible deal, classic games have gone up in actual value (while of course emulation/piracy has remained the same). Outside of OoT which is sluggish as hell (always kinda was though), the input latency thing has been overblown mostly by folks looking at one tweet and then making posts like yours without playing it themselves.
